Description

There is a strange machine sitting on the table nearby. It reads “Gachapon Adopts” in a hard to read but cheerful font. It heavily resembles a bubblegum machine or something of the like. There is a slot for points and a crank to turn once the money is inserted.

Upon closer inspection, you find the capsules inside the machine are moving a little. You rub your eyes and take a closer look. To your surprise, there appear to be little creatures in the capsules... though they shouldn’t be able to survive in there without fresh air. Some of the creatures are familiar—like simple dogs and cats—while others seem to be more exotic creatures.

There is a large button on the front of the machine that catches your attention. It’s big and red, practically screaming “PUSH ME!” Against your better judgment, you push the button, which reveals a small keyboard that pops out of the machine’s bottom. Curious, you type in some random letters. The machine makes a pleasant ‘clink’ and the capsules inside are shuffled about.

The keyboard must be used to narrow down what sort of creature you want. At least, that’s the most logical conclusion. To test it, you type “cat”. Indeed, the feline creatures’ capsules shift their way to the bottom.

You have a good idea of how this works, but the real question is IF it works. You examine the crank, finding someone left some points inside. You turn the crank, and out pops a pink capsule. You carefully pry it open, for fear you’ll harm the tiny creature inside.

WHOOSH!

The creature grows to full size in an instant, knocking you down and running off to who-knows-where. Maybe it’s off to find the person who originally put the points in? You pick yourself up and dust yourself off.

You have a few points in your pocket, and wonder if you could get something with the amount you have on you. So... will you release a creature from the machine?
